Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer | £25 | Link | This primer was first raved about a few years ago, the clear gel primer flew off the shelves with hundreds of reviews backing up how wonderful it was. I never caved then, but a couple of months ago I decided to go on the search for primer that wouldn't irritate my sensitive skin. This primer claimed to increase the longevity of my foundation while reducing the appearance of fine lines and pores, I instantly thought to myself "Yeah right" (The often thought process I go through when buying products with miraculous promises), but after a few applications I saw a massive difference in the way my foundation seamlessly glided over my face and the wear of my make up. Even though the gel consistency could cause a problem for those with oily skin as it could cause your make up to slide off more easily, I personally found that the formula filled in my imperfections whilst giving my skin a super soft feel. It's definitely a best seller for a reason, so I would recommend it to anybody looking for a lightweight primer that helps creates a smooth, primed canvas for foundation application.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion | £8/£16 | Link | I recently expressed my love for this eyeshadow primer in my Top Eye Products post. This primer has been a cult favourite of beauty bloggers for years now. The lightweight, silky finish formula is a god send to those of you that want your eyeshadow to last throughout the day without creasing or fading. I apply this using my finger, blending out until it covers the whole of my lid. I find that not only does this primer increase the longevity of my eyeshadow but it increases the vibrancy and pigmentation too. The easy to squeeze tube allows for precise and controlled application meaning little product is ever wasted, so even though this is on the pricier side a little goes a long way. A definite must have in my make up collection and I will continue to purchase this until I find a better alternative.
