Wedding Guest Makeup

Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint, Tanya Burr birthday suit, soft luxe palette, nars copacabana, hourglass ambient lighting
I'm off to a wedding reception tomorrow evening and, after having a frantic five minutes finding something to wear, I have now moved onto my makeup look of the night. I wanted a fresh looking and long lasting yet natural makeup look in replacement of my usual bold lip and strong eye duo I usually wear.

After prepping and priming my face, I move onto foundation where the Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint is the one I'm reaching for. This offering disguises blemishes and uneven skin tone, whilst still allowing your skins natural radiance to shine through. To make this base appear more glowy I have been mixing in a bit of the Nars Copacabana Illuminator to add a slight sheen to the skin; perfect for those with a lacklustre complexion.

On the cheeks I will use a few sweeps of bronzer to add definition, then go in with a fresh, glowy blusher in the form of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush. After adding a soft flush of colour to the cheeks, I go in with my Sleek Solstice Palette to add a dewy glow.

A new addition to my makeup collection is the Tanya Burr Birthday Suit Palettea warm neutral quad that creates a soft, brown smokey eye in an instant. With two mattes and two shimmers, you can create a quick and easy look with minimal effort. I will then line the eyes thinly with my eyeliner of choice, then apply several lashings of the Clarins Mascara Supra Volume*; a mascara that holds a lash, curls and lengthens like no other. If I'm feeling like I need extra definition to my lashes, I have my Red Cherry Lashes in Delilah* on stand by.

For lips, I was tempted to opt for a liquid lipstick due to their longevity and nude colour range, but instead I am going for a Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment as they are nourishing, give of a subtle colour and can easily be reapplied throughout the night.

What would you wear to a wedding?
