Over the years of reading blogs and running my own, I have come across my fair share of cult beauty products. Some often fade in popularity, whilst others still remain. Today I am sharing with you the products that I think are worth the cult status.
The Beauty Blender* has been around for many years now, my first being in my early teens. Fast forward several years and many trends later and the Beauty Blender is now safely back in many people's makeup bags. This tear drop shaped sponge expands when damp and effortlessly blends in foundation like no other - A daily must have for me!
When it comes to eyeshadow palettes, I don't know about you but my mind instantly wanders to the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. Over the years these eyeshadow palettes have gained a cult following, but for me the Naked 3 Palette is my go-to. With 12 eyeshadows ranging from soft pale mattes to intense dark shimmers, this has you covered for all occasions. What stands out the most about Naked 3 is that the lighter shades are still highly pigmented, some of, if not the best, in an eyeshadow palette. All the shades are versatile and work together beautifully to create a soft smokey eye or everyday look.
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders and Blushers have been a favourite of mine in my makeup bag for some time now. The finely milled powders look beautiful and natural on the skin, whilst adding just the right amount of glow.
When I think of Charlotte Tilbury, the Filmstar Bronze and Glow Palette was the product that got my attention first. This contour and highlighting duo has chiselled many cheekbones, but is it worth the £49 price tag? Yes. Although the contour powder has a slight shimmer to it, this cool toned powder allows you to easily sculpt your face and the soft champagne hued highlighter compliments this too.
If there's one highlighter you need in your collection it is the theBalm's Mary Lou Manizer. This honey hued powder adds a refined glow to the cheeks and brightens my complexion in one quick sweep. I'm not sure I've ever come across anybody who hasn't loved this and it's endless positive reviews are for a very good reason too.
The NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams are by far my favourite formula and finish of a liquid lipstick. They feel comfortable to wear and with an array of colours to choice from, you'll be spoiled for choice. These vanilla buttercream scented lip creams are foolproof and for under £6, I can see why people love them so much.
I know the Essie Nail Polishes haven't been for everyone, but for me, they're my go-to. The whole range of colours are beautiful, the formula stays on my nails for some time and the price is affordable too. If you're looking for a luxe looking mani then I would recommend the hues Bahama Mama topped with Tassel Shaker.
