First up is the Korres Mango Lip Butter, an everyday tinted lip balm that adds a slight colour and sheen to the lips. Although it's not your typical Autumn hue, it does sit perfectly between a red and coral shade, making it very suitable for the transitional period. It soothes chapped lips and offers deep hydration with subtle colour due to it's added shea butter and rice wax.
The Clinique Pop Lip Colours have been a favourite of mine for some time now and for a very good reason too. With a hydrating and satin-like finish these add both comfort and colour to your lips. Plum Pop is a wearable purple hue that doesn't differ too much from my natural lip shade and is just right for the Summer/Autumn cross over. Another go-to of mine is the shade Passion Pop, an intense red that although isn't for the faint hearted, does offer hydration like no other red lipstick and is one of my favourites when I don't want to go too OTT.
Berry shades are slowly but surely making their way back into my routine in the form of the Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector in 08*. As someone with naturally darker lips than some, finding a light berry lipstick is hard to find as more often than not they end up not changing the natural hue of my lips. This however isn't the case with this Clarins offering, as not only does it deliver nourished feeling lips, the berry hue compliments a wide variety of makeup looks. If berry and red hues aren't your go to in the transitional period between Summer and Autumn -which sometimes for me they're aren't- then the Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector in 06* is perfect for a soft, natural nude lip.
What are your favourite transitional lipsticks?
