Halloween Makeup For Those Who Don't Dress Up

Halloween is just around the corner and as this year I am fully embracing this spooky season, not only have I already hung up my decorations and got my pumpkins to carve, but I am slowly starting to incorporate darker, vampier looking products into my makeup routine. I don't dress up for Halloween except for maybe a pair of cat ears, an all black outfit and a pair of these Lexa Cat Flats

If I'm opting for a nude lip, I like to go big on the eyes, reaching for MAC's Fig 1, an intense matte purple to help compliment my dark blue eyes. If paired with a subtle shimmer this looks perfect smudged under the eye or ran through the crease, however if I'm going all out I like to ditch the nude lip for a berry option. Despite the darker hues making my eye appear smaller, I can't help but reach for the eye liner and I am currently trying out the Rimmel London Scandaleyes Micro Eyeliner*

For the lips, I will almost certainly be donning the NYX Copenhagen Soft Matte Lip Cream on the big night as it's long lasting, vampy and will definitely be a perfect addition to my all black outfit. During the run up to Halloween, I use this time to start bringing out my darker red hues just in time for both the spooky and festive season and the Nars Cruella Lip Pencil is just the right shade for my skin tone.

I can't help but paint my nails in a dark hue for Halloween, although Essie's Penny Talk is a tad festive, I think it'll look gorgeous paired and on the tips onto top of Essie Wicked or Sole Mate for a spooky twist.

What makeup are you wearing this Halloween?
