I've recently been splurging on and treated to lots of new makeup, my excuse being that my collection needed a bit of a spruce up with the new season. Although I haven't had these products long enough to do a full review just yet, I thought I would give my passing thoughts on the new additions.
The Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush Palette was quickly moved to the top of my wishlist as soon as I spotted it in a few Instagram photographs. I've been after a trio of their blushers for ages, but as the original already consisted of hues that I owned, the new hues were the perfect excuse to add this to my basket. They consist of three, lit-from within shades that, although when swatched doesn't look too overly different to what I've already got in my collection, are absolutely gorgeous on the face.
Next up is the Nars Radiance Primer, a base product that helps to revive dull, lacklustre looking skin with a range of skin loving ingredients. The peach shade originally put me off, but once blended into the skin it gives off the perfect pearlescent sheen which has a dreamy glow underneath my foundation. I need to trial this a bit more before I give my final verdict, but so far so good.
I have been housing my new products in this Next Cat Makeup Bag. It's the perfect size for my handbag so I hope to keep it clean and free of any capless lip balms and powder. I'm currently eyeing up the new Becca Prismatic Amethyst Highlighter, so no doubt I will be making a purchase soon.
Have you been lusting after any makeup lately?
