5 Things I've Added To My April To-Do List

The cherry blossom trees are blooming, the daylight hours are getting longer and despite the slight chill in the air, I think we can officially say it feels like Spring now. I'm embracing the warmer days by spending my time outside, snapping the bumble bees collecting pollen, watching more and more lambs fill the fields and concocting a new delicious smoothie recipe. Today I am sharing with you five things I've added to my April to-do list.

Invest In New Skincare | It's been a while since I purchased some new skincare as i've been really into Spring makeup at the moment. The pink hues, dewy bases and nourishing formulas have had me hooked, but my skin definitely needs some extra TLC. The Pixi Double Cleanse, Nourishing Sleep Mask and Hydrating Milky Mist are currently at the top of my list, however these are closely followed by some new makeup releases including these Too Faced Love Light Highlighters

Fill In My Calendar | Every year I always say I'll go fruit picking a lot earlier in the year than I end up doing and I tend to miss the events in my area which I swore that I would attend. In April, I'm going to dedicate some time to scouring the internet for some last minute deals away or to see if there's anything going on during the Spring and Summer months. I think once it's in the diary, I will be more inclined to go.

Look Out For Lana's New Album | If you've seen the album trailer, you'll know that Lana Del Rey is releasing a new album soon, Lust For Life. The trailer has got me excited and like usual, I'm listening to her every day again in preparation for the new songs.

Pick Up Some New PJ's | Although my Spring wardrobe is on my mind and I want to make sure that I have all the basics early on as I usually go into panic when the weather starts getting hotter, I want to pick up some new pyjamas as my current ones look a bit shabby. These Traditional Cherry Blossom ones look cosy, but it's always handy to have a short set too like these Rainbow Set

More Self-Care Days | In preparation for going to the Harry Potter studio tour, we have been spending our nights re-watching the films, bundled up in blankets with a hot chocolate in hand. Switching off, having a pamper and feeling cosy are all little luxuries of mine that in April I want to do more off. The hotter days and longer daylight hours means that I'm always tempted out to the local gardens which have fresh, blooming flowers (including irresistible cherry blossom!) and now that we've got a garden, I will no doubt be spending more time outside in the mornings, slowly feeling the day getting warmer as the birds chirp from the trees above.
