Spring Lipsticks

Although I wear nude and pink lipsticks all year round, I can't help but incorporate them more frequently into my makeup routine when the weather starts to get warmer. The blush blooms of Spring certainly have an effect on the lip shades I reach for, so today I am sharing with you the my current top picks.

Nourishing lipsticks are a must in the Spring as they tend to have a glossier finish and the hydrating formula helps with my dry lips. The YSL Nude In Private offering is perfect as the colour is light and can easily be applied on the go. With a watermelon scent it's almost good enough to eat too!

For a liquid lipstick option, the Jouer Dulce De Leche* pick is great for a long wearing, matte option that fades beautifully and doesn't dry out the lips too much. The mauve hue compliments my skin tone and can be used with a variety of makeup looks.

The classic Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick had to make an appearance in this line up; it's a great option for if you're going out for the evening and you want something that can be easily reapplied. It makes the lips appear fuller and more plump in an instant as the nude shade is perfect to wear on a day-to-day basis.

Lastly, the L'Oreal Eva's Nude lipstick has been on my lips since the new year, but it is finally getting a lot of use during the warmer days. The nourishing option is great for a glossy, pink lip that's easy to wear daily without any fuss.

What lipsticks have you been wearing this Spring?
