First up is the L'Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation, which is one of- if not the best- base product I've ever used. It works perfectly in sync with my dehydrated, lacklustre complexion to smooth over any dry patches and give a medium coverage. When paired with a beauty blender, it can be applied easily with an even, natural finish - perfect when you want a "barely there" foundation that lasts all day!
I first used the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue two years ago and since then I've been through tubes of the stuff. Back then I had combination skin, so I'm delighted that it still works just as great on a dry complexion too. It's the lightest coverage base in this line up, but it's great if you want fresh looking skin in an instant.
Lastly, the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation had to be given a mention and although it's not as lightweight and Summer appropriate as the others, it definitely works wonders in the warmer evenings when you want something with a little bit more coverage, that still looks natural to wear. The demi-matte finish doesn't sink into pores, but instead smoothes off blemishes and imperfections.
