Three Summer Essie Picks

I'm sure you're all aware by now that I'm smitten with Essie nail polishes. I tend to switch them up, bringing a handful of my favourites to the front of my collection every season. Lately I've been scouring the Essie aisle in Boots every week, picking up a few shades I've been lusting after - An expensive habit for sure! I thought I'd share with you three of my top Summer picks that will take you right through the warmer months.

I usually associate reds with the festive season, but decided to pick up Essie's Russian Roulette on a whim after wanting a bright orange-red for some time. Although in the bottle it can look a little intimidating, on the nails it actually appears like a true red and I bet it would look flattering on all skin tones - You only need one coat if you're in a rush which is a bonus too.

Next up is Essie's Cute As A Button, a hue that I never thought would make an appearance in my collection. It's bright, it's bold and it's certainly fit for Summer. This coral pink shade has incredible longevity and applies smoothly with the help of Essie's classic wide brush.

Not Just A Pretty Face is more of an everyday wearable shade than the other two, as it delivers a soft pink hue that is the perfect manicure shade; it elongates your nails making your fingers appear longer. It's glossy, it's girly and it's everything I want in a nail polish.

What are your favourite Essie nail vanishes?
