Finding a bronzer that can be used on bare skin and still look natural was much harder than I anticipated, but the Becca Sunlit Bronzer in Captri Coast* is the perfect pick. It blends into the skin seamlessly and adds a warmth to the complexion that perks it up instantly. Although pigmented, it can built up lightly to sculpt the face and add colour with ease.
If I was to pick a colour for a natural look it would be the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushers as they add a subtle flush of colour without being too overpowering, however I have been smitten with the Milani Hermosa Rose* offering. It's a bronzed blush that works as a subtle highlighter too as it has shimmer running through it, making it incredibly natural looking on the skin and perfect for a bare faced beauty look.
Although I skip on highlighter when going a little bare faced- instead opting for warming up the complexion with bronzer and illuminating blushers- I can't leave my eyes without a little pick me up. The Nars Rigel Eyeshadow is great in the inner corners or a light dusting underneath the eyebrows for a more wide awake look. The NYX Wonder Pencil is great along the waterline or if you need an extra brightener in the inner corners too. I finish with a few layers of my favourite mascara to pull it all together.
I find the key to a bare faced look is eyebrows as they frame my face easily without looking too unnatural in the process. The Anastasia Beverley Hills Dip Brow Pomade and Benefit Gimme Brow* is the perfect pairing when I want a strong and defined brow in a few quick steps.
For lips, I usually scrub away my dry lips using a Lush Lip Scrub and then finish with a nourishing lip balm to keep them hydrated throughout the day. When going for a bare look, I like to keep my lips as bare as they can be or with a slight nude tint.
