The Products That Add A Little Autumn To Your Summer

The crisp leaves, snuggly jumpers and berry hues are all things I associate with the colder weather of Autumn. Although we're in the midst of Summer, I've been feeling rather Autumnal and festive lately (which I'm trying to stop), but in the mean time I've been painting my nails with burgundy shades, reading books under a bundle of blankets and rewatching all my favourite Halloween episodes of my TV shows. 

I feel like warm eyeshadow palettes are coming out left, right and centre, making me even more excited for the soft, smokey eyes that come along with the colder months. This hasn't stopped me embracing a copper-brown eye in July, the Sigma Warm Neutrals Palette* being a go-to of mine. If you would like an alternative, the NYX palette by the same name looks incredibly similar and is on my wishlist to buy in September already! 

If there's one product I  associate with Autumn, it's the NYX Copenhagen Soft Matte Lip Cream. As it's been on the cooler side recently, I've been switching up my strong vivid pink lip for this burgundy hue, adding a little bit of Autumn to my evening. 

The easiest way to add the muted mauve hues to your routine is via the cheeks as they can add a soft colour, which even in the heat of Summer can be complimentary. They match my usual dewy skin perfectly and can go with a variety of lip colours too. 

As soon as the season changes, so does my nail vanish, so to add a little bit of Autumn to my Summer days, I like to wear Essie's Sole Mate and Angora Cardi, two of my favourites which remind me of Halloween, hot chocolate and cosy evenings in.
