5 Things I've Added To My August To-Do List

Does anyone else feel like July just whizzed by? Actually, scrap that... does anyone else feel like this year has gone by super fast? Don't get me wrong; as an Autumn enthusiast I'm looking forward to the crispy leaves, layers of clothing and the ability to get really cosy in the evenings. But as it's still only August, I want to make sure I'm making the most of the last of the Summer. Here are five things I've added to my August to-do list:

Get Ready For Paris | I'm going to Paris this month and to say that I'm excited is a huge understatement. I need to compile a list of the places I want to visit, the sights I want to see and the products I want to buy from Sephora. I've got to start working extra hard to make sure everything is planned for my time off as I'm away a bit before I go to Paris too, so August is definitely a busy month. Be prepared for lots of Parisian-themed posts including what I'm packing, where I've been on my trip and a maybe a haul too.

The Last Of Summer | I'm already predicting that this month will go pretty fast and although secretly I can't wait for the transitional period between seasons when the leaves start browning and there's a slight chill to the air, I want to make the most of the last of Summer. We've got an outdoor cinema planned at the start of September, but I think fruit picking, going to the beach and spending as much time on our bikes as possible are on the agenda.

Hit Those Fitness Goals | I was really focused on my fitness throughout July and I want to make it my mission to hit some of my other fitness goals in August too. I've got a few new moves I'd like to perfect and as someone who already cycles three times a week, I'd love to keep that up as much as I can, maybe even upping it to four times a week if I fancy it.

Get Over My End Of Season Lull | I'm having a bit of an issue at the moment with not feeling particularly inspired. This isn't a surprise as I usually end up in a bit of a lull when the season slowly starts coming to an end. As the weather is slightly cooler, I think my brain has gone into Autumn mode, but I already predict that I'll be feeling a little unmotivated towards the end of the month if we have a second heat wave as soon as I start planning my transitional blog content.

Start Saving | As I've previously said, we've got quite a few upcoming trips planned, so I've been saving where and when I can and with Autumn- the busiest season in my family for birthdays- just around the corner, I think it's time to start prepping to save for that and Christmas too! I recently bought a blush pink rain coat, but I've stopped myself from buying anything new for a while.

What is on your August to-do list?
