I'm not sure if it's been the stress of my laptop being broken or the late nights I've been having, but my skin is no longer looking it's best. Every now and again, I get a bad case of blemished, lacklustre skin.
Although the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser is a new addition to my skincare routine, it's one that has really helped me get my skin back on track after it's recent flare up of dry patches. It's not only great at melting away makeup, the delicate rose scent means its a dream to use and is super simple, yet calming on the skin.
Exfoliators -chemical or not- are instant pick me ups for the skin too. The Pixi Peel and Polish works great at battling blemishes, dry patches and dullness. With a quick scrub, my skin looks a little bit more awake and makes it easier to wear foundation if I choose to.
To battle under eye circles and generally just perk up my complexion, I reach for The Ordinary's Caffeine Solution* and Moisturising Factors* to help replenish my skin and delver a boost of hydration.
Masks are one of my favourite ways to quickly make my skin appear plumper and more hydrated. The Clarins SOS Hydra* is a new favourite of mine and works in a similar way to the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask as within twenty minutes, my skin always looks much better. Not only is it nourishing, it helps to refresh my complexion too and genuinely perks me up if used in the morning.
For a more clarifying option, I always reach for the the Aesop Primrose Facial Masque* as it really helps to draw out any impurities and clear the skin. It can be a little drying, so I always make sure that I'm using a nourishing cleanser and hydrating moisturiser before and after use.
