Toners are one of the items in my skincare routine that, although they have never been exactly riveting, I have always been consistent with using. I find them great at finishing the cleansing routine off, getting rid of any remaining traces of makeup and adding something special to the skin too. When I first spotted the Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Toner many moons ago, I was so drawn in, not only by the dreamy rose petal packaging, but by it's skincare claims too. Fee from MakeupSavvy is doing a blog post on a more affordable alternative to this toner, so don't forget to check her blog out. Not only does she write some of my favourite reviews, her photographs and written content never fail to make me swoon.
It didn't take me long to notice that my pores were looking smaller, something that doesn't happen very often with only the use of a skincare product and no help from makeup. This hyaluronic acid in this makes it extremely hydrating, whilst rose water and oil makes it nourishing and soothing too. This offering is a seriously good all-rounder and has been a nice alternative to my usual glycolic acid picks, especially when my skin needs a boost in both hydration and radiance.
It's expensive, there's no denying that, but I've used it day and night for nearly a month now and have barely made a dent in it. Although I'm nowhere near the bottom, none of the roses have made it out the bottle which is a big plus. I've truly seen a difference in the look and feel of my skin and it has been a lovely addition to my skincare routine. I feel like it's going to be a saviour come the colder months when I need all the moisture I can get. I have to mention how pretty the bottle actually is because there's nothing quite like a mixture of pink and roses.
Have you tried the Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner?
