Champagne hues are my absolute favourite when it comes to magical looking makeup and Too Faced Blinded By The Light Highlighter is the perfect example of a product that is dreamy on the outside as well as on the inside too. It's subtle, but still adds an etherial glow to the cheeks that wears beautifully throughout the day.
The Becca Rose Quartz Light Chaser Highlighter* is another offering that just oozes dreaminess and whenever I wear it I feel great. It has a pink hue that shifts to a natural gold making it suitable to wear daily, whilst being something different from the usual highlighters in my collection.
I'm not sure if it's because we're slowly going into Autumn, but I've been thinking of Halloween more than ever at the moment. Although I haven't tried much from Illamasqua, for me, they are the epitome of Halloween. The OMG Beyond Powder is great at illuminating the cheekbones and the packaging just reminds me of being a teenager and lusting after everything from them.
Just like Illamasqua, there is something about Charlotte Tilbury that makes me feel magical whenever I use it. I'm not sure if it's the luxe packaging, divine formulas or perfect finishes, but almost everything I've tried has had me smitten.
I've found myself having expensive taste in perfume lately, so when the Ghost Dream EDP* arrived, I wasn't expecting to be quite so smitten with it. It's floral, fresh and extremely long lasting despite the small price tag and I've been wearing it daily without fail. There's something about the bottle that is so magical looking and the ombre effect looks great on my dressing table.
I love having the Fresh Rose Hydration Toner on my dressing table because it makes me want to have a powder puff and a lot of vintage perfume bottles lined up too. There's something about the floating rose petals that makes me feel super fancy and like I'm a fairy princess.
