Autumn Eyeshadows

I'm having a bit of a moment when it comes to eyeshadow lately and I've been smitten with anything warm in tone. I wanted to share with you a few of my current favourite eyeshadow picks, so here they are:

As soon as the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette* was released, I knew that it was going to be an autumn favourite of mine. This palette is made up of warm toned eyeshadows including a matte dark burgundy and burnt coppery reds. They can be blended together easily and I have been reaching for this palette ever since I got it.

Another Urban Decay palette I've been obsessed with is the Original* offering, which actually works great with Heat too. This one has an array of twelve shades that are more golden brown in tone than any palette I've owned, but it's one that's great to use on a day to day basis or when you want a simple, understated look.

It seems like it's around this time of year that I start to rekindle the love for the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette, as the quad is great at creating a smokey eye look in an instant and it's so easy as the four shades are already picked out for you. The burgundy hue is my favourite out of the four, but each eyeshadow has a buttery formula that's easy to blend and perfectly pigmented.

The eyeshadow palette that took me most by surprise was the NYX Cool Neutrals* pick which has a selection of sixteen shades ranging from matte mauves to deep purples. It's the mauve hues that have wowed me in this if I'm honest, as they make for a simple eye when I just want to use the bare minimum amount of eyeshadows, whilst still making it look polished and well put together.
