What's On My Reading List

After getting back into reading a lot more, I was in dire need of some new books to delve into. I want to make the most of the colder days and stay bundled up in blankets with a hot chocolate and book in hand, so I decided to do a book haul.

First up is Joe Lycett's Parnsips, Buttered and I've got to admit that a book has never made itself into my basket fast enough. If you didn't know, I watch his DVD regularly whenever I need cheering up; I can pretty much recite it word for word and in July we're going to see his new tour live. The book sounds great and I've heard so many amazing things about it so, although I'm usually skeptical about these sort of books, it'll no doubt make me chuckle.

I've been putting off buying The Keeper Of Lost Things as it sounds like it'll make me cry in parts- not a great pick before bed- but I've just been gravitating towards it for months now, so I decided to pick it up.

Anybody Out There by Marian Keyes was a last minute pick up for me, but as I enjoyed her other books a lot I couldn't resist this after reading some of the reviews. I noticed this book apparently features the famous Walsh Family too, but as I've only read one of their other books, I'm hoping I still get to grips with this one.

Another on the whim purchase of mine was It Started With A Tweet as, although I love reading psychology thrillers and mysteries, sometimes all I want is a good, funny love story to sink my teeth into. I thought this would be the perfect pick for a lazy Sunday or to read before I go to sleep.

I bought A Court Of Thorns and Roses some time ago, but haven't got around to reading them yet.

What books have you been reading lately?
