Nudestix Brand First Impressions

After seeing Nudestix featured on a variety of US blogs, I wanted to try the brand out for myself. I haven't seen it mentioned over here, but as they're becoming readily available in the UK, I thought now was the perfect time to share my first impressions on the pieces I was very kindly sent recently.

The majority of products I own are all lip pencils, but they come in different finishes and formulas depending on your taste. The Magnetic Matte Lip Pencils* which I tried in this Creator's Palette* are super long lasting (as in the swatches on my arm don't disappear for 48 hours!), but unfortunately there were only a couple of shades in the set that I would get anywhere out of. Saying this, Sonoran and Freckle are super gorgeous and with such great longevity I can see myself getting a lot of where out of these two!

Moving onto another lip pencil that has already made its way into a permanent spot in my makeup bag. It's the Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil* in the shade Purity which is a pinky nude. I prefer to wear this on my lips as it makes them look fuller and more defined. It honestly wears so well being long lasting without drying my lips out. It's the number one product out of everything that I've tried from Nudestix that I feel like would appeal to a lot of people.

The other product I'd definitely recommend is the Rock N' Roller Easy Eyeliner* which shock... I didn't get in the black shade. The hue golden rose looks absolutely dreamy ran across the lash line and despite it being something I wouldn't usually go for, it really spruces up a makeup look. The longevity has to be mentioned too as it's another one which stayed put on my hand when swatches and it doesn't disappoint on the lid either. The roller contraception intrigued me and if I'm honest I wasn't expecting to like it at all, but there's something about it that dispenses just the right amount of product and makes it super easy to create a thin line. You can bet I've added the black one to my wishlist now!

Last is the Gel Colour Lip + Cheek Pencil* which I feel like would have been a great one to use during the Summer months when I usually want a glossier look. I've got the shade Luxe and upon trying it, I just don't think it's for me. If you're someone who wants a barely there, dash of colour to your cheeks then I'm sure you'd love to give this a whirl, but for me, at the moment I'm all into powders on the cheeks and on the lips, the shade just isn't my cup of tea.

Aside from these products, I wanted to give a quick mention to some of their other products I've got my eye on like the Nudies All Over Face Contour and their Glow Version too. I know I've just said I'm currently not into cream products, but these look too pretty to miss out on and I have a feeling the cream to powder formula will work just nicely.

Have you tried anything from Nudestix before?

If a product is marked with a * it is a PR sample. This post contains affiliate links.
