Huda Beauty Round Up

Huda beauty hasn't been on my radar as long as other brands have, but it's a regular in my makeup bag at the moment. I've tried a little bit of everything, from lips to eyes, so I thought I'd give you a brand focus post showcasing the products I think are worth it and the one's to miss. I started my collection off with the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks* back in November of 2017 and I've been using them ever since. The have four mini nude shades I use regularly and on rotation which I definitely recommend. They're long lasting, yet feel super comfortable on the lips and can be easily reapplied throughout the day if you need to. It's one of my favourite liquid lipstick formulas ever and if you like the matte look, then it's one of the check out, but I would say stick to the nude shades as I find the formula can be a little off when it gets to the darker shades. 

Although I rate their eyeshadows and lipsticks, it's their base products that I say you should try out first because they outshine them. The Overachiever Concealer* is a new addition for me, but it's one that I've been using a lot. It's great for under the eyes as the metal tip is very cooling on the skin. The formula is lightweight and flawless; a little bit goes a long way. I got the shade Marshmallow, but in hindsight I should have got a darker shade so I could use it all over. Saying this, it still works amazingly well at covering dark circles and brightening the whole area up. 

I use this paired with the Face Bake and Blend Dual-Ended Brush* because although the slanted side is made to pack on powder, I find it great at getting into the corners when using it with concealers. It's actually made me want to try out more of their brushes as this one is great quality and for once I'm getting use out of both ends. 

To set my makeup I've been using the Easy Bake Loose Powder* and despite never really trying baking before, I've actually found this super easy to use. The only problem I have with it is the packaging, the corners are actually quite sharp and it's chunky which doesn't make it very good for getting in your makeup bag. If you're not into scents in products you won't like this, but I wish they did this in a perfume as it's gorgeous! It's honestly an amazing powder for setting your makeup as it makes you skin feel ultra smooth and matte for hours to come. 

I have two eyeshadows palettes from Huda, the Warm Brown Obsessions Palette* and the Rose Gold Remastered*. Both of these have great eyeshadow formulas that blend effortlessly together, the latter is definitely for the lover of glitters and the former for those who like warm toned mattes. Although they're gorgeous, I've got to admit I don't reach for them as much as I should do, but that could be because I have so many other palettes in my collection that are more fitting for everyday wear. 

On a whole, Huda Beauty is a brand that actually surprised me a lot because I went in thinking that it was super hyped up and the quality wouldn't be great, but it was the complete opposite.
