Whenever I'm looking for a new perfume or I just want to have a browse at a new in section, I head over to Fragrance Direct to see what they have to offer and they never disappoint. Spring is now officially here and that means one thing... the excuse to try out some new products and switch up my makeup routine for the warmer season. Here are a handful of pieces that I've picked out to add to my collection this Spring.
Even though it's not new to me, the L'Oreal Cushion Foundation is new to Fragrance Direct and is now under £5. It's lightweight formula blends into the skin seamlessly and is pretty long lasting considering the dewy finish. It offers a medium coverage which helps to cover any redness or blemishes, but still remains pretty much undetectable on the skin, yet it still works well if you want to build it up or add any additional concealer.
Talking of concealer, the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Highlighting Pen has been on my to-try list for some time now after hearing that it's a possible dupe for the famous YSL offering. Now, if you're after something super high coverage then this won't be for you, but the light reflecting formula helps to illumine the undereye area in a natural way - perfect of those Spring days when you don't want to wear much on the skin.
There's nothing like a peachy blush to remind me that Spring is around the corner and MAC's Margin is the perfect hue to colour the cheeks with. It's not intense enough that you can easily go overboard, but the subtle tint that it leaves on the skin makes you look naturally flushed.
The last pick of the bunch is the Marc Jacobs Daisy Sunshine EDT and I have to admit it's the one I'm most excited about as it just has Spring written all over it. The notes of white strawberry and marigold make me dream of the longer days and warmer weather coming up and as it's got a twist of the original daisy scent, it's a great one to add to your collection if you're looking for something a bit different. With every new Marc Jacobs release, I fall in love with their fragrances all over again, but I think this may be up their with my top three scents of theirs.
