Derry Girls | I love finding a new comedy to binge watch and after the success of the first series, I couldn't wait for the second to start. It has me belly laughing throughout the whole episode and the only criticism I have is that they're never long enough. Sister Michael is a whole mood and it's definitely worth a watch just for her eye rolls.
Captain Marvel | The only film in this line up, but it had to have a mention as I absolutely loved it. I'm not sure if it was the delicious Belgium waffle I had, but I left the cinema with a smile on my face - something that the recent Marvel films haven't managed to do. It's storyline is a bit murky in places, but it makes up for it in funny characters and catchy 90's music. Worth a watch!
The Umbrella Academy | I've got to be honest, I didn't think that I'd get along with this as the adverts didn't do it justice. There's lot of twists and turns throughout the series, keeping you interested throughout and although I still want a backstory about the children, you get pretty invested in the characters from the get go.
SUTC Great British Bake Off | GBBO never fails to make me feel cosy, so having the TV show back with a good cause is a bonus especially as I've been struggling with this weather recently. It's nice to get comfy with a blanket and snacks again to watch it, plus every episode ends with me chuckling my way through it.
Cheat | If you want to catch this show it's been on ITV four days in the row (why can't more television shows do this) and although it was a little bit tough to get into at the beginning, it's had me hooked now. It's unique storyline makes for an entertaining watch and now I'm excited for The Bay to start next too.
What have you been watching lately?
