5 Things I've Added To My June To-Do List

5 Things I've Added To My June To-Do List
I probably sound like a broken record, but May felt like it went by in a flash. I'm so ready for the rainy weather to go away now though as June is finally here! I've got lots of work planned for this month and a trip away later this month too. Here are five things I've added to my June to-do list:

Finish Off Our Bedroom | I got it into my head a few of weeks back that I wanted to update a corner of our bedroom that was starting to look a little bare. The shelf is up as is our new rattan mirror, but I've got a few ideas now of what I wanted to add to it now. I'm thinking lots of plants, some new ornaments and a plant pot or two.

Continue Exercising | I'm actually pretty active already, riding a bike for a couple of hours day about four days a week. I started getting into adding one more fitness day into my routine during April and May and have been thoroughly enjoying it. I don't put pressure on myself on long I have to do it for or what I'm doing that day which is nice as it means I can pick what I fancy. I've been doing a mixture of running, HIIT, dance and kettlebells which have all helped to get new muscles working and get my sweat on.

Check Out The Local Sunflower and Lavender Fields | You may or may not have noticed that I actually featured this in my May to-do list, but I may have jumped the gun a little as they're apparently not properly out until mid to late June, so I've got a little while to wait yet. That does mean I get to plan my outfits a little bit more as you can bet I'll be taking lots of Instagram photographs to share.

Bake More | I don't know if it's because I'm longing after cosy days a lot more since I been poorly recently, but I've been longing to bake a lot more. The only problem is that if I don't have the stuff in already, I rarely make the trip out. This month I want to make a conscious effort to whip up a chocolate chip banana bread, maybe even some brownies and some lemon poppy seed muffins too. Baking really helps me to relax and unwind - with a tasty treat at the end too.

Visit Scotland | Towards the end of June, we are taking a trip away to Scotland. Although it's not in anyway a work trip as we'll be on our bikes the whole time, there's quite a few spots that I've looked at that I will no doubt be sharing on my Instagram if I can sneak in a  spare ten minutes. We've been to the area in Scotland before, so I'm exciting to head back there with a large group of us this time!
