Christmas Decoration Haul + Best Affordable Places

Christmas Decoration Haul + Best Affordable Places
- All links in this post are affiliate links. For more info head to my disclaimer. -

Christmas is quickly approaching and I've been steadily collecting a fair share of new products to help spruce up my festive decorations. I've shared my top picks on my Instagram, but thought I'd write up a blog post to accompany it to help you get inspired to the run up to the 25th.

Homesense is always worth a visit and they have some amazing picks for the festive season, but of course you can't link to specific products for you to shop. I picked up a tartan fleece blanket similar to the Marks and Spencer's offering and it's one of my favourite things I've picked up recently.

H&M home is full of gems at the moment and as everything is affordable, it's easy to get a big wishlist quickly! The Velvet Red Sequin Cushion is absolutely beautiful and despite being a little bit more expensive than the other Happy Holidays Green Cushion I picked up, the velvet exterior feels a lot higher quality than the £12.99 I paid for it.

I did a quick poll on my social media to help me choose from Christmas tree for this year as I decided that I was going to go for a faux one this time. The Argos 6ft Snow Tipped Tree was the one I went for and I've had such fan decorating it with the decorations I've collected over the last five or so years as well as adding some poinsettia details to emphasise my red theme.

If you're stuck for inspiration or you're on a budget, I'd recommend heading to your home section in TK Maxx if you don't have a Homesense near you. On top of this, I'd recommend Matalan because there are some amazing finds in there too as well as Wilko's - another affordable option! If you're looking for something specific and you can't find it in store, then I always fall back on Amazon to get a bargain.

Autumn Beauty Picks

Autumn Beauty Favourites
- If a product is marked with a * it is a product that has been sent to me, but with no obligation to review. All links in this post are affiliate links. -

Autumn brings me lots of joys; the crisp brown leaves and the excuse to wear cosy layers on the daily basis being a couple of them, but it's actually the makeup that this colder season brings that I'm talking about today.

I'm all about that subtle shimmer and glowy skin at this time of the year as I find that my dehydrated complexion craves nourishing formulas and soft dew. The primer I've been relying on a lot is the Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow* which offers a lightweight, blurred look that is the perfect way to set up your foundation the right way.

For my cheeks, I would usually opt for a powder formula, but honestly I can't get enough of the Charlotte Tilbury Contour and Highlighter Wand that I've been talking about non-stop recently. The illuminator gives off the right amount of glow that shimmers in the light and never fails to make my complexion look like it's got a filter on it.

Warm tones run regularly in my eyeshadow looks that I wear and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette* is a rediscovery of mine that I've been sporting a lot during this Autumn. I've been using a brown in my crease and a shimmer on my lid too followed by the Pixi BronzeBlaze Endless Shade Stick*

Onto skincare now and I've been using the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic* non-stop this season and it's calming formula is great to refresh the skin in the morning or soothe in post-cleanse in the evening.

I've had the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme* in my storage unopened for a long time now and after a very bad hormonal breakout I decided to give these a try. I started using them three times a week, but after just one application, I saw such a big difference in my blemishes. They were instantly reduced in size and felt a lot less sore, so after several uses, they were nearly completely gone!

To note, I've always been using the Herbivore Emerald Face Oil* for the last couple of weeks, but I just had to feature it in this post as it helped my complexion so much. Although I have combination skin; when areas of my face get's dehydrated, these patches get incredibly painful and sore. This face oil has been super soothing and calming on these areas, nourishing along the way! It's thick and luxe which is why I like to use this on no-makeup days or in the evening for it to sink in over 15 minutes or so.

Bath and Body Works Candle Collection

Bath and Body Works Candle Collection
Bath and Body works is one of, if not my favourite candle brand. Their range of Autumn and Christmas scents never fails to impress me, but I know that a lot of people are put off them as they're not readily available in the UK. I'm here to not only share with you my favourite scents and one's that I want to check out, but also how to get them over here!

A classic candle that you will probably have heard of or at least seen a lot in my blog photographs is Leaves. With notes of red apple, golden nectar and warm clove this smells exactly what you'd imagine Autumn would. It gives off a great throw meaning it fills whatever room it is lighted in and I think it would be the perfect first candle if you're unsure what to get!

Another scent that is super similar to leaves, but unfortunately is no longer available on their website, although I'm sure a few sellers have them still is Autumn - the first candle I ever bought from Bath and Body Works. The juicy fig note is very unique and when paired with the gala apple and fir balsam, it makes one of my favourite ever candles. It's lightweight and is perfect if you're not into super intense, headache inducing scents.

I avoided buying Sweater Weather until this year as I was so certain I didn't need it after owning the other two, but when it arrived, it was just love at first sight. Eucalyptus is a note I never knew I had a fondness too, but after looking at lots of my other candles, it seems to be a common theme. Just like Autumn, it's great if you don't like sweet fragrances, but I find this one is super strong just in the jar.
Bath and Body Works Collection Review
There's quite a few versions of Autumn Woods about, but the one I had I got this year and it's a delicious mix of dark walnut, english lavender and white amber. I bought this completely blind having never really owned nor smelt a candle similar to this and it was a great risk that I took. It's reminiscent of a man's cologne, but in just a dreamy way, so it doesn't give you a headache when you light it.

Harvest Gathering is like the baby of Autumn and Leaves as they share such similar notes and even though as a candle hoarder, I would say they smelt different, I think to the average person you wouldn't need this one if you owned the other two. This does combine all the best notes including apple, Autumn berries and clove buds. It's like a Sunday walk in the woods in a candle.

Lastly we have my least favourite candle, I know leaving the one I'm not fond on til last is very anti-climatic, but Pumpkin Cupcake is one that I've tested for the longest time and I think the fact I haven't even come close to finishing it means that it's time to admit defeat and pass it on. The packaging on the one I got is absolutely gorgeous and is what enticed me in, but personally I find the sickly sweet buttercream and cupcake scent a little bit too strong and when mixed with the pumpkin spice note, I have to be in the right mood to even have the lid open.

Now onto how I personally buy them, a question I get asked whenever I share my new in Bath and Body Works products on my Instagram. In previous years, I've used the likes of eBay and Depop to purchase them as once you know what price range you're looking at for a candle (£8-£12 for 1 wick and £18-£20 for 3 wick) it's pretty easy to nab one. It's important to note that of course sellers need to make money back from purchasing from the states and they're unlikely to have the deals you see online - the downside of buying from the UK! Another way I've been buying them is through Facebook sellers, there's a fair few groups that you can request to join and I'd recommend scouring the page and seeing if there's anything you fancy and interact with people - lots of them are more than happy to pick one up for you.

Have you tried any Bath and Body Works candles?

A Christmas Beauty Gift Guide + Giveaway

A Beauty Christmas Gift Guide
- If a product is marked with a * it has been sent to me, but with no obligation to review. All links in this post are affiliate links. -

Christmas gift guides are now in full swing and they're clearly enabling me into getting in the festive spirit. The beauty gift guide is the one of the many posts I look forward to putting together; sharing the dreamy products and gift sets that I've spotted around when shopping on the internet that either you can give to a loved one or treat yourself to!

Palettes are always well received and I feel like I gravitate towards ones that offer something for everybody. The Jouer Rose Cut Gems Blush and Cheek Topper* which I got from Cult Beauty, ticks all my boxes as it has an array of blush hues including a deep burgundy, a nude and a peachy pink as well as a gold highlighter to top it all off. The Too Faced Gingerbread House Party is super cute; it covers all your eyeshadow needs as well as includes a highlighter, blush and bronzer palette and a mini mascara, eyeshadow primer and liquid lipstick.

Anastasia Beverly Hills are really nailed their gift sets this year and Cult Beauty kindly sent me over their Loose Highlighter Trio* which has a icy white, a glittering gold and a pink bronze shade to add a little sparkle to your Christmas. The Undressed Lip Set by them is also incredible looking as I feel like you wouldn't ever need another nude liquid lipstick in your life for a long time!
Soap and Glory Fab U Stash
If you're really stuck on what to get somebody, I feel like the Nars Softcore Blush and Balm Set* is the perfect option as it will give them the opportunity to try out a high end brand without breaking the bank. It's got a miniature blusher inside that is small, but still offers enough product to give it some good use and the lip balm is perfectly handbag size.

Ahh Charlotte Tilbury... one of my favourite brands to reach for at this time of the year and their gift sets had to get a look in as it's something I'd be thrilled with receiving. I mean the Mini Hot Lips Charms which offers the JK Magic, Amazing Amal and Viva La Vergara shades. CT are also now stocked at World Duty Free which means you can shop the array of amazing formula and shades before your flight and The Gift of Pillow Talk Lips Set* would be my top pick to check out whilst you're there as you get the classic shade as well as the lip liner to pair with it. It doesn't just stop at Charlotte Tilbury as I've discovered Eve Lom and this great Iconic Cleanse Ornament* which at £15 would be the perfect affordable gift!

I've done a full blog post on my fragrance favourites for the festive season, but I couldn't help but give the Marc Jacobs Daisy EDT Set* a mention. At just over £36 on World Duty Free it's a great gift if you know the person travels a lot or if you want them to sample three different fragrances.

Whether it's your best friend, aunt or grandmother you're buying for, there's something for everybody over at L'Occitane. In my experience their gifts are always so perfectly curated and with lots to choose from, you'll no doubt get a bunch of products that will go down a treat with whoever you decide to gift it too! The Luxury Almond Collection* is no exception to this as I feel like it'd be perfect for the Winter months ahead.

As a thank you for supporting all my blog posts over the Christmas period, I am giving you all the opportunity to win this Soap and Glory Fab-U-Stash Gift Set*. It contains six products inside ranging from their famous clean on me shower gel and the righteous butter to their eyeliner and lipgloss. The giveaway will run from 23/11/19 and finish 3/12/19 at 12am. Please enter below and the winner will be chosen at random.

A Christmas Stocking Fillers Gift Guide - Everything £20 and Under!

Christmas Stocking Fillers Gift Guide
- If a product is marked with a * it has been sent to me with no obligation to review. All links in this post are affiliate links. -

I know just how expensive Christmas can be, so if you're on a budget then this is the perfect blog post to read! I originally was going to do a stocking fillers post, but as this can mean a £20 gift set to one person and a pair of socks to another, I thought I would merge the two blog posts together - creating the ultimate budget Christmas gift guide.

Soap and Glory have really nailed the gift sets this year and the Glam-azing Pamper Hamper* is one of my favourites. Although it would definitely fall into the bigger present category and not a stocking filler for me, this well curated set containing both skincare and body products is perfect for anyone who needs some extra TLC. For just £20 I think it's an absolute bargain for what you get! If you're on a budget and you're buying for a teen or a beauty lover, I can't recommend Soap and Glory enough and if you'd like something more affordable then the Holid-Eyes Kit* might be up your street as well as it contains two products to try out.

Next have some beauty ornaments and crackers to get stuck into - perfect for adding to your stockings. The Caudalie Vinosource Hydration Cracker* contains three miniature products inside which although small, still offers enough to give them a good try. Then we have the L'Occitane Cherry Blossom Festive Bauble*, a very fitting present for the season and it's super cute for anybody to receive - they have a bauble for everybody's tastes!

A pair of socks, cosy slippers or a snuggly dressing gown are always well received as they'll be gifted just before the super cold weather sets in. The ASOS Christmas Pudding Socks are a novelty, but you can't help but love them! If you have a little more to spend, I'd always recommend creating a themed present for somebody opting for one of those three items alongside a face mask and candle for the ultimate treat! These H&M candles are a bargain at £2.99 each, but it's this Scented Candle Four Set that has me excited the most as they're giving me serious Diptyque dupe vibes!

L'Occitane Almond Body Care Collection

L'Occitane Almond Body Care Collection Review
- All products in this post have been sent to me, but with no obligation to post. All links in this post are affiliate links. -

It's not often I do dedicated blog posts anymore, let alone one's relating to Christmas, but the new L'Occitane Almond Body Care Collection* just had to be talked about! With four beautifully scented and great formulas with a worth total of £58, I feel like this will be going on lots of people's Christmas lists.

The first product inside I have to talk about is the Almond Shower Oil* which I'm slightly biased to as it's one of my favourite L'Occitane products already. You get 250ml inside which is one of their full sized version they sell and it's enough to get the full experience. It lathers up beautifully, feeling rich and luxurious as you rub it into your skin. This is perfect for the colder weather and if you want to take your bath time to the next level.

Then we have the accompanying Almond Milk Concentrate* which has the same scent and it's a product I've wanted to try out for the longest time. It's described as having a creamy and silky texture, which is just how I would describe it and it promises to help skin look firmer, smoother and more hydrated - just what you need!

I feel like a L'Occitane gift set wouldn't be the same without hand cream and inside this one is the Almond Delicious Hands* in the travel size, which is perfect for your handbag. I know for a fact that a few of my family members have fought over this hand cream before, so it would be a very welcomed gift come Christmas.

I'm not usually a soap fan, but this Almond Delicious Soap* just rounds off the gift perfectly and smells divine! The almond shells inside in the soap gives it exfoliating properties, so not only does it cleanse, it keeps your handles feeling soft and supple too.

Do you like the look of the L'Occitane Almond Body Care Gift Set?

Fragrance Direct Beauty Gift Guide

Fragrance Direct Beauty Gift Guide
Fragrance Direct Beauty Gift Guide
 - This post is a paid collaboration with Fragrance Direct, but all thoughts are my own. All links in this post are affiliate links. -

Ahh Christmas - The magical time of the year when we decorate our tree with twinkling lights, wrap up warm eating all the festive treats and... stress about what to get our loved ones for the big day! With big deals and savings on some of your favourite brands at Fragrance Direct you no longer need to worry as Christmas has just been made easier. I'm here to share my top beauty picks that you'll want to snap up (and probably keep for yourself!).

Nuxe have some amazing gift sets this year and there's something for everybody. The Nuxe Magique Prodigieux Set* is perfect for those who want to sample a bit of everything as there's a nourishing body oil, a hydrating moisturiser, a shower oil and even a candle to help you relax. At £26.99 it's an incredible gift that won't break the bank, but if you're on a budget then I'd recommend the Nuxe Emblematique Best Sellers*. It's got their classic lip balm inside as well as both formulas of the shimmer and dry oil.

Fragrance Direct has you covered for all your stocking filler needs as well as they offer the Simple Mini Regime Gift Set* which a budget way to try out three of their products. I think this would be perfect for a teenager or young adult that travels a lot, as the pouches are the just the right size for putting in your suitcase.
Fragrance Direct Beauty Gift GuideStila Shimmer Liquid Eyeshadows
It's hard to pick a favourite out the bunch, but the Stila Shimmer and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows* just cut it. At just £13.99 each, I think it'll be easy to do a "one for you, one for me" tactic when gifting. I've got shades Kitten, Jezebel and Twig, the latter being their cult classic champagne shade that can easily be applied over the lids. The former hue, Twig, is the darker of the trio and it's super long lasting - making it great for smudging along the lash line.

With a saving of over £10, the bareMinerals Crystalline Glow Bronzer and Highlighter Palette* is an absolute steal! With a trio of baked powder that sit perfectly and comfortably on the skin, this would be a well received gift to any beauty lover.

Palettes are always a good idea and if you're gifting to somebody who likes to experiment with eyeshadow then I'd recommend the LaRoc PRO Pyjama Party Eyeshadow Palette*. With 10 shades ranging from a soft pink to deep brown, I'm sure you'll get a fair few eye looks out of it - perfect for Christmas day or New Year's Eve.

Have you spotted anything here you'd like to treat yourself or a loved one to?

A Christmas Fragrance Gift Guide

A Christmas Fragrance Gift Guide A Christmas Fragrance Gift Guide
- This post is a paid collaboration with Fragrance Direct, but all thoughts are my own. All links in this post are affiliate links. -

Fragrance is one fo the most popular presents to gift, but I know how overwhelming it can be with so many on the market. Fragrance Direct offers a great saving on all of their perfumes, so they're the perfect way to gift somebody their favourite sent on a smaller budget. Here are my top picks for the festive season:

The Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet Gift Set* is just to die-for as you get a full sized 50ml bottle as well as purse friendly 10ml size! The packaging is classic, but with an added spin with the frosted pink glass and gold detailing in the flower lid. It's soft and floral, but doesn't lack in longevity. Although the scent may be on the sweet side, it doesn't feel too young, so this would be a perfect pick for your sister, niece and even mum.

If you're really stuck on what to get somebody, you can't go wrong with the classics. The Paco Rabanne Olympea Perfume* is the perfect pick for anybody older in my opinion as the vanilla, mandarin and ginger lily makes for a luxurious scent that smells differently on everybody that wears it.  The rose gold packaging would look great on a dressing table and with the dreamy fragrance being a favourite of many, I think you'd be extremely popular gifting this one!

If it's a spin on a classic you're looking for then look no further because the Giorgio Armani Si Passione* would be the one for you. The red exterior feels very fitting for the festive season and the scent doesn't disappoint either. With notes of pink pepper, rose de mai and patchouli vanilla, this has an intense fragrance that you'll notice whenever it comes in the room. The saving of Fragrance Direct makes it an even better deal and you can get all the Si scents in sets perfect for gifting.

Lush Christmas Collection

Lush Christmas Collection 2019
Ahh the annual Lush Christmas haul... and this year is even better than the rest! I feel like they've seriously upped their game when it comes to their festive products, but I know how overwhelming it can be to choose when you're in store, so I've narrowed down my favourites from you today.

The Magic Wand is a re-purchase of mine and it's had a bit of a makeover this year, but don't worry it still has it's delicious sweet scent that will fill your bath up with endless bubbles. It's reusable meaning you can get a fair few baths out of it and as it's on a stick, you can do it with ease! I like that they've made it shorter and thicker this year as it means it doesn't snap off as easily when you're getting down to the end of the bubble bar.

Another product I've bought many times before is the Candy Cane, another reusable bubble bar that creates several baths. As always, I was still disappointed they hadn't change this scent to a peppermint one as I feel like that would be more fitting, but the uplifting lemon and bergamot still makes for a great bath!

They have added a spearmint bubble bar to their range in the form of the Polar Bear Plunge, a bear shaped offering that you crumble underneath running water. Now it goes without saying that Lush has gone up in price, so when I first spotted this online for £4.95 it didn't initially go into my basket, but after seeing how big it actually is in real life, I just had to pick it up. Just having in the bag has filled the upstairs of my house with it's refreshing scent.

The Rudolph Bath Bomb just looks like the epitome of Christmas and although it's the same scent of Snowcake, I feel like it's reminiscent of Cinders, an old Lush favourite you may recognise! It's adorable looking and very festive scented too, so I feel like this will be a popular one.

I just knew that I had to pick up a bottle of Snow Fairy Shower Gel as I always worry they won't bring it back. This bubblegum scented pick leaves the skin feeling soft and smelling good enough to eat. It's a Christmas favourite to many for a reason, it lathers up great and I've been known to use a little to add bubbles to my bath too.

Will you be picking up anything from the Lush Christmas range?

10 Things To Do This Sunday

Last Sunday, I shared my cosy and relaxed day on my Instagram stories and it was a hit! I thought it was the perfect time of year to inspire you with some of my favourite activities to do on the last day of the week.

To start the day off right, I like to make myself a delicious breakfast full of my favourites. Sometimes I'll go with soft boiled eggs and marmite soldiers and other times I like to go for the full works - rosemary mushrooms, rocket, yummy veggie sausages, sourdough toast smothered in avocado and perfectly poached eggs!

A Sunday baking session is always welcomed with open arms and I've been loving whipping up some treats ready to eat later on in the evening. I've been making my pumpkin spice biscuits a lot recently as well as rich chocolate cupcakes or brownies. I find baking super relaxing and I think it's a Sunday morning activity that keeps you relaxed for the rest of the day.

Although this next activity won't be for everybody, but I like to add cleaning to my Sunday to-do list. After eating, I want to make sure that my kitchen has been cleaned and then I quickly hoover and wash the floor throughout the house, hanging up clothes that need to and putting on the washing. Boring, but I always appreciate it more when the evening rolls around.
For me, I love to get out and get some fresh air either by exercising outside or going on a leisurely stroll around the woods - sometimes both in the afternoon. The ever changing colours of the leaves, the pinecones dropping and the wild mushrooms popping up everywhere, it just makes the walk an absolute pleasure especially when wrapped up warm and armed with a camera to take lots of snaps.

Sunday's don't always have to include a roast, but in the Autumn and Winter it's definitely a plus. I personally love to make a bunch of roast potatoes, honey parsnips, lots of greens, veggie sausages and my classic Yorkshire puddings especially if I haven't eaten much since breakfast as it fills me right up. If I don't want to cook too much, I go for the 'kid food', the type of dinner that I would have loved when I was younger - sometimes it just has to be done! I love a beige meal with my Quorn chicken nuggets, chips and sweetcorn followed by a much loved dessert.

It's then time for my evening routine where I like to take an early bath, so I have an excuse to get into my pyjamas. I pop in a Lush bath bomb or bubble bar, light a few candles and I play my chill playlist to create the right ambience. I like to take extra time in my skincare routine, taking every piece of makeup I have on and then I put on my face mask so it gets to work when I'm soaking in bubbles.
Afterwards I like to make sure my body is fully moisturised using the Lush Sleepy Lotion and then I put on a fresh pair of pyjamas. If I want to fake tan ready for the week ahead this is when I do so and the same goes for painting my nails.

I sit down with whatever treats I made earlier and stick on a TV series or film. Harry Potter is always a great Autumn Sunday pick, but I've also been watching the new David Attenborough documentary and His Dark Materials which are both incredible. When I find a comfy spot with a bunch of cushions and a pile of blankets, I'm set for the evening especially if I've got a hot drink in hand as well.

Before I go to bed, I've been trying to get back into reading as I find picking up a book helps to relax my mind before I settle down to sleep. I've seen lots of festive reads in the shops at the moment that I'm super tempted to pick up as I love a good rom-com at this time of the year.

Sick Day Beauty Must Haves

Sick Day Beauty Must Haves
- If a product is marked with a * it has been sent to me, but with no obligation to post about. All links in this post are affiliate links. For more info head to my disclaimer. -

I've been feeling rather under the weather now for over a week and therefore I have been relying on a handful of products to keep my skin moisturised and healthy despite the circumstances. I've got everything from makeup to skincare, so if you're battling an Autumn cold like I am, then this post is for you.

I've had the Nip and Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads* in my collection for a while now after receiving it in a Latest In Beauty box. I used to use the original versions for a long time when I was a teen and the extreme version promises to help de-congest your complexion and naturally exfoliate your skin with just one wipe of the soaked pad. I was struggling with a lot of hormonal, painful breakouts around my chin area and this helped to reduce the size of them overnight!

Despite wanting to reach for a luxurious, thick and rich moisturiser, when I'm poorly I need something that I can re-apply throughout the day and is fast absorbing so that it doesn't overwhelm my skin. The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice* is the perfect addition as it gives my complexion a drink of hydration as well as making it feel silky smooth and soft to touch.

Throughout the day, I've been running my Jade Roller fresh from the fridge to help ease my headaches and massage the face. It's super easy to use and unlike the other skincare tool I use in the evening, this can be used all-day everyday.

For makeup, I like to keep it as minimal as possible and I only wear it on days when I want to perk myself up. The Bare Minerals Bare Skin Concealer* is my go-to as the serum formula sits comfortably on the skin and can be blended in with ease and topped up throughout the day. To finish everything off, I go in with my Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment*, a product that I always rave about as they offer a great dose of colour in a nourishing formula.

What's your sick day must haves?

If you were to take one look at the rows of bottles I have on display  I think it would be safe to say that I'm quite the connoisseur when it comes to perfume. I often get to try an array of scents out, so I've honed in on the type of fragrances that I reach for the most often and the notes that makes my nose tingle, so when Molton Brown kindly sent me over one of their new luxe Rosa Absolute Eau De Parfum* I was excited to see how it matches up to my other favourites.

Rose is one of my go-to notes in a perfume, even though I don't love them all, if I spot it in it's description I can't help, but give it a sniff! This isn't an ultra sweet floral scent at all as the patchouli and musk makes it feel warm and rich. With a couple of spritz it fills the air with a dreamy scent that feels comforting when the weather outside is so crisp and chilly and when layered with jumpers, scarves and cardigan's this is the perfect pairing.

The length that this lasts on the skin is unbelievable; meaning that if you're wearing the same coat the next day you can still detect the gentle fragrance lingering. The sleek dark bottle is absolutely gorgeous with the purple, marbled effect cap to round it all off and look great on your dressing table. The £110 price label isn't something to ignore and I'm aware that it isn't for everybody, but if you're into your luxurious fragrance or you're looking for a fancy wedding scent, then it's definitely one that I recommend giving a try.

Smokey Eyes and Sparkle For Bonfire Night

Smokey Eye and Sparkle Eyeshadow

Bonfire night is here and I'm off to see a Firework display this evening. If you don't know by now I love a event and I'm going to make the most of it by matching my makeup - going for a glowy base and smokey, sparkly eye look. Here are my top picks:

I'm going to go for a bronze look on the eyes, so the shades Luscious, Cobbler and Caramelised from the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette* is perfect for adding a shimmer all over the lids. The Charlotte Tilbury Vintage Vamp* definitely allows me to add definition and depth to my eyes as this quad has some gorgeous plum colours which is great fo adding some warm too.

If you're not looking to do a full on smokey eye then I'd recommend the Nars Rigel Single Eyeshadow as this is a one sweep wonder which adds a dreamy sparkle to the lids that work great paired with a simple eyeliner and a pair of lashes.

Talking of eyeliner, rather than just going for the classic black, the Nudestix Rock N' Roller Easy Eyeliner Ink* in Golden Rose which is just as gorgeous as it sounds. It's adds even more shimmer and a definition to the eye, great for finishing off a smokey or simple eye look.

For the cheeks, I will be applying my Charlotte Tilbury Highlighter and Contour Wand as usual as I've been loving the way it pulls my makeup all together, but for an extra glow over the cheekbones, nose and brow bone, I'll be dusting the Laura Mercier Indiscretion Illuminator over those parts.

Evening Autumn Skincare Routine

Throughout Autumn I always struggle with a dehydrated complexion and unexplained blemishes due to the change in weather. I've recently been using up lots of my skincare products and I've created myself a new skincare routine that has helped my skin stay in tip top condition this season.

I've been using the Soap and Glory Puffy Eye Attack Eye Makeup Remover* in my skincare routine and it takes me back to my teen years when Soap and Glory was the go-to high street brand. This eye makeup remover is great for sensitive eyes as it removes all my mascara without tugging on my lashes and it doesn't leave my eyes stinging either.

I then go in with my double cleanser, the first one is the form of the Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Cleanser* helps to melt away my base and any remaining eye makeup I have. Then the second one works to remove any impurities, promotes brightness and helps with smoothness too, the Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser* (which I've done a sponsored AD for on Instagram) is my go-to for doing just this.

I go in with my toner of choice which is currently the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic* which has a relaxing chamomile scent that feels very fitting to use in the evening, but despite the strong fragrance, I don't find it irritates my skin (although it's something to note!).

I've been using lots of nourishing products doubling up on serum and moisturiser to ensure that my skin feels adequately hydrated. The Glow Recipe Watermelon Serum* or Fresh Deep Rose Serum* are two of my favourites as they feel super lightweight on the skin, but they give the complexion a huge drink! I then go in with the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream* which won't surprise you as I've been raving about it for months now and I just knew that it would be the perfect Autumn moisturiser once the weather got colder.

If I want to use extra products to keep my skin feeling smooth and exfoliated, I always use the Pixi Peel and Polish* for a quick fix or the Glow Recipe Pineapple C-Bright Serum* for a long lasting effect that works overnight to help smooth and brighten my complexion.

To finish off my routine, I apply the Girl, Undiscovered Pink Skies Beauty Balm* to my lips to keep them nourished when the weather is getting colder.

5 Things I've Added To My November To-Do List

November To Do List
I can't believe how quickly this year is going and that November is now here! I'm actually quite gutted to see the back of October as I've loved creating Halloween content, but I'm still looking forward to continuing my Autumn posts going into the next month too.

Plan All The Content | October was a success with kick starting my love for blogging again as I challenged myself to blog almost everyday in the past month and with a switch up of my theme on Instagram, I feel inspired to carry on. I want to plan my content for Christmas towards the end of November, but I'm hoping this month will be just as good as the one just gone.

Put Some Events In The Diary | From bonfire night to visiting early Christmas markets, I want to make sure that the next two months are full to the brim of things I want to do. I'm hoping to go somewhere to pick out my Christmas tree this year as well as maybe even going abroad for a weekend away.

Firework Night | Bonfire night falls on a Tuesday this year, so I'm sure there will be displays the weekend before and after as well as on the day too. I want to make the most of it by heading to a firework display or too especially if there are promises of warm food and a cosy fire.

Have A Clear Out | We had a clear out of my house recently, but we left my office, wardrobe and storage area. I want to have a clear out this month, throwing away any out of date products, selling things I no longer wear or use and give away anything else.

Switch Up My Homeware | During the month of October, I filled my home with everything Halloween, from bunting, pumpkins and themed blankets. It made me sad to pack these all away this morning and despite leaving my pumpkins out on my fireplace, I've already started looking for more Autumn themed decorations as well as early Christmas pieces that I could start buying for the months ahead.

What's on your November to-do list?
